...So I was sitting there, drinking my favorite Sangiovese (which is any Sangiovese from Sonoma County) and I said to Justin, "I just had another company call me for marketing help. Think I should take it?"

Justin rolled his eyes (though in a very nice way). "I thought you wanted to work on your own designs?"

I agreed. I did want to. But I also love with a capital L working with small businesses and hated to say no. "I do," I answered. "But this is a nice company that needs help, and you could help me with the website, too."

Justin laughed, "You've got to choose what you want to do. Maybe it's time we start a company again," he suggested. And I agreed. And so we did.

VinJoy is our second company together. We were business partners before we became life partners (and proof positive that family partnership can be successful).

To VinJoy, Justin brings his hospitality degree, years of expertise in project management, computer programming and systems management, and terrific nonprofit experience (he's directed two nonprofit entities). I provide my marketing and PR services, together with strategic planning and design capabilities. And we have two associates who help out with the web design and marketing.
